This has to be one of the most spectacular Labradorite specimens that I’ve had the pleasure of working with.
With so many colors projecting from it, I had to keep the back of it just as exposed for the appreciation of viewing. The front side of this extremely colorful cabochon is fully exposed and the backside has been adorned with Colorado-sourced dogday cicada wings, an Oregon-sourced fern, and Illinois-sourced Queen Anne’s Lace. All the botanicals and organic materials have been hand collected and preserved underneath hand cut, museum quality glass.
This piece hangs on a 26 inch, adjustable, nickel free, copper chain.
